TestSight® is an ActiveX® (ocx) module designed specifically for electronics production. TestSight can be incorporated into your software program to create high performance electronic production, test and measurement applications.
TestSight imports the industry standard GenCAM® IPC 2511 format for circuit boards as well as GenCAD 1.4. TestSight also reads and writes a native Extensible Markup Language (XML) file format for easy data interchange and fast file loading.
Other import options include Gerber import using the DeMille Research Inc. Gerber Editor™ or editing services.
TestSight can load and display multiple circuit boards of any size, layer depth and complexity.
As a project is loaded into TestSight, it is organized into objects and collections of objects. The objects form a tree structure in which each child object is contained by a parent collection. This organization is called the TestSight Object Model. The highest level object is the System object.
Once the circuit board (or multiple circuit boards) are loaded, the TestSight Object Model provides software access to all properties and methods of the objects.
User Controls provide the visual display of a TestSight project. The Thumbnail control provides an overall navigation view, the ViewPort control provides a detailed project view, and the Print control provides print and print preview functions.
