The ViewPort provides a detailed view of the TestSight® project. Navigation controls and keyboard handling are built-in. A status bar indicates cursor location. A datum point and markers can be set under software control.
If enabled, a mouse pop-up will appear when the mouse is paused over an item.All aspects of the control display are software programmable, including background color, trace colors, part color and fill style, pad color etc. The ViewPort also includes an Arrow feature for pointing to items of interest.
Circuit Boards may be individual rotated in 90 degree increments. If the circuit board is a member of a product (e.g. panel), the entire panel can be rotated.
Any net may be individually colored, displayed or hidden. In addition, TestSight supports a special dual net mode. When two nets are set in this mode, TestSight will automatically find and highlight all potential shorts locations.
Under program control, any part may be individually colored or hidden.TestSight automatically displays the pin numbers for a part when the view is sufficiently zoomed in. A part can be selected as the current part. The current part can be highlighted with several styles, including flashing.
The area encompassed by the ViewPort can be automatically highlighted in the ThumbNail Navigator using events from the ViewPort.
TestSight includes advanced features such as automatic custom zoom and automatic panning. Click and drag with the left mouse button and TestSight automatically enters the custom zoom mode. Click and drag with the right mouse button and the display will pan automatically.
